International MX-race Wuustwezel Belgium

Sven Breugelmans started his first race with a clear holeshot in front of Joel Smets but crashed and dnf´ed..In the second race Sven suffered a first turn-crash together with Strijbos and de Belder. While the others restarted to resume the race, Sven´s rear-brake lever and and muffler where completely bend which forced him to quit the race. The third time around Sven moved away from the pack as he and Kevin Strijbos battled for the lead. At halfway the race Sven had to let go of Strijbos, not wanting to risk a 3rd dnf. He finished second, with a comfortable lead over Vandaele, Theybers and Smets. Two dnf and a 2nd brought Sven a dissapointing 14th for the day. Let´s hope Sven leaves bad-luck behind in Belguim as we move to the next MX-3 GP coming weekend in Hungary.

Joel Roelants was unstoppable in the first race which he controlled nearly from start to finish, nobody could get near him, a fantastic peformance from Joel!. When -agian- in leading position the second race, at about midway disaster struck. A doubled rider came up from behind and slammed his bike into Joel´s 250 while he was cornering. The crash cost him more than a lap before he could restart. Joel fought back to 15th position, which resulted in 4th overall for the day. No hard feelings for Joel however, our RedBull-KTM rider is determined to learn an grow stronger each race.
